INTRODUCTION
Cabin & Co (Pty) Ltd (“Cabin & Co”) operates an online platform that connects guests with independent accommodation hosts for short-term cabin and unique stay bookings across South Africa. These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made through Cabin & Co’s website and form a binding agreement between Cabin & Co and the guest. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. The accommodation contract is concluded directly between the Guest and the Host

BOOKINGS
All reservations must be made through the official Cabin & Co website: https://cabinandco.co.za. A booking is only confirmed once full or required payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by the host. Requests to amend booking dates are subject to host terms and conditions, availability and rate adjustments.

PAYMENTS
Payments are processed via secure third-party payment providers. Cabin & Co does not store card details. All transactions are encrypted and processed in South African Rand (ZAR). Any additional charges incurred during the stay may be charged separately if applicable.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Cancellation policies vary per property and are displayed on each listing. Refunds are processed according to the selected cabin’s cancellation policy. Refund timelines may vary depending on payment providers. Transaction or processing fees may be non-refundable where applicable.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests agree to respect house rules, not exceed maximum occupancy, avoid unauthorised parties and leave the property in reasonable condition.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Guests acknowledge that they stay at listed properties at their own risk. Cabin & Co acts solely as an booking intermediary between guest and host and is not responsible/shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, loss, theft, damage, or accidents occurring during the stay, except where required by law. Guests are responsible for their own safety and for supervising children and pets.

FORCE MAJEURE
Cabin & Co shall not be held liable for events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, load shedding, pandemics, or civil unrest.

FIRE & SAFETY
Guests must comply with all fire regulations and safety rules provided by the host. Fires may only be made in designated areas. Guests may be held liable for damages, fines, or costs resulting from negligence or violation of safety regulations.

DAMAGE, LOSS & CONDUCT
Guests are responsible for maintaining the property in good condition. Any damage, breakage, or missing items must be reported immediately. Cabin & Co reserves the right to recover costs for damages caused by guests by charging the guest. Failure to comply with property rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

WEBSITE USE
All website content, including text, images, branding and software, is the property of Cabin & Co and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without permission. Use of the website must be lawful and in accordance with applicable South African legislation.

PRIVACY POLICY
Cabin & Co collects and processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of
Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal information is collected to facilitate bookings, communicate with guests, verify identity, and meet legal obligations. Guests may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information subject to legal requirements. Guest details may be shared with Hosts solely for booking fulfilment.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Cabin & Co reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. The version published on the website at the time of booking will apply. By completing a booking, the Guest confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
